MARRIAGE COURSES

We offer facilitation for the ICBC Marriage course, “The Laugh your way through marriage” course and the Four Cornerstones of Marriage – ICBC

BLENDED MARRIAGE COURSE

We offer a course for Blended families, who are bringing two established families together and need to learn to navigate the many challenges involved.

KAIROS COURSE

The Youth KAIROS (YK) course is a guided learning experience. We are involved with both the youth and adult Kairos courses.

We offer the ALPHA Youth Course to Teenagers and Young Adults

ALPHA ADULTS COURSE

The ALPHA course is an International, Interdenominational Course.  It teaches the basic concepts of being a Christian.

COUNSELLING

Impact Ministries door is always open to assist with Counselling.

Our trained and qualified Behavioural Science Counsellor goes to High Schools to counsel teenagers and assist the Schools with issues like suicide, bullying, depression, life choices, job preparedness etc.

YOUTH MINISTRY

YOUTH MISSION TRAINING

For over 18 years we have trained up many Young Adults in the Mission field.

TRAINING CAMPS

We offer weekends away to the Drakensberg and then on to other more advanced training schedules.

TRAINING WEEKENDS

These are held first at the Drakensberg to introduce a mission camp. Then there are more advanced mission training camps at Impact’s venue on the Vaal.

CPR, LIFE SAVING AND FIRST AID COURSES

We arrange these courses once or twice a year so the mission youth are equipped for any mission trips to remote areas.

FARMING GOD’S WAY

We have a program and a project at Impact to teach Farming God’s Way.  Once again equipping young missionaries with skills to take into the mission field.  The FGW is an awesome tool for outreach as well, so programs are in place to teach locals how to take this skill into their rural areas, showing them God’s love.

SKILLS DEVELOPMENT

A program is in place to teach locals and missionaries extra skills that will be useful in the field and equip them for effective outreach.

THRUST - YOUTH MISSION CONFERENCE

An annual Youth Mission Conference is held to expose young adults to God’s heart for the Nations and Missions. This weekend camp ignites young adults to be on an exciting journey with God. 

Many options are presented to the young adults to make educated decisions for their futures.

MOZ PROJECTS

BIBLE COLLEGES

We have many Bible Colleges in the greater Maputo area.  We supply them with study material and Bibles and in some cases reading glasses.  We frequently visit these colleges to encourage them and allow our young adults to engage and learn from their experiences.

SCHOOL

We have also supported schools in rural areas around Maputo.  We take young adults on camps and get them to help with the projects, utilizing the skills they have been taught at Impact.

CHURCHES

We do the same with some of the churches in Mozambique.

As impact works with other organisations, there are variety of outreach opportunities on an on-going basis.
We encourage bible distributions on our mission trips. We are also involved with handing out Bibles to Grade 8’s in Gauteng each year

We work with schools and run an anti-bullying program where offenders are sent to Impact’s venue to undergo a program geared to deter bullying.  Teachers, principals, parents and police are all in agreement with the program and work together to fight this community issue.

Young girls who have been victims of rape, abuse or bullying are sent to Impact’s venue to attend counsel sessions, self protection classes and upliftment.
Young adults wishing to commit to a 10 month program during the year, will spend their days assisting the project and its many duties and learning about God’s great commission as well as attaining direction and clarity for their future after the GAP year

ANTI-BULLYING CAMPAIGN:

We have a very comprehensive Anti-bullying program, which we take to schools to implement the principles of this paradigm shifting process. Our students learn the whole procedure, become Facilitators and have a major part in this campaign.

The bullying in South Africa has reached crises levels and something must be done urgently. The youth of South Africa is a sitting timebomb and measures must be taken to diffuse the growing dilemma.

Our campaign deals with the reasons behind the bully and the effects on the bullied. We deal with cyber-bullying, verbal and physical, parent and teacher bullying, home and school bullying. We also deal with the effects of bullying on the crime statistics of our country.

Statistics show that 1.2 million (reported) violent crimes each year in South Africa, are attributed to the demographic of 15 – 34 year olds. This, unfortunately, are our young adults.

Bullying starts as young as 10 years old and later, this develops a sharp lack of empathy and leads to physical abuse and is later carried into the workplace, communities, gender violence and violent crimes!

We sometimes arrange tours around South Africa to visit schools and do presentations about Bullying.

The Police Commissioner in Alberton is happy to come on board with our program, as are welfare workers, churches, teachers, parents, and the Police Forum. The MP for basic education is very happy with our process and is ready to promote its implementation from Government level. We also have a short course for Educators to learn the program.
